Our Story

The mission of Second Time Around is to meet a special need in our community,

A need that will arise in any family that owns wood furniture, that need maybe to repair,

restore, or refinish any piece of furniture ranging from a broken kitchen chair to

restoring family heirlooms such as Mom and Dads bedroom set to Grandmas old cedar

chest.

Created by a man named Ted in the late 1980’s after working for another Furniture

re finisher for several years. Purchased by Steve Holden in the fall of 1991 fulfilling a

life long dream of being self employed. The dream unwritten or spoken was to meet a

need in peoples lives while having fun, making good money, honoring my Lord, and

earning the respect of my Customers, employees, neighbors, family and friends. 

Second Time Around has one goal to do the best we can for our customers so that we

can earn their respect and provide for our own financial, spiritual and mental well being.
